Google Classroom Family Night
Thursday, January 14, 2021

Have you ever wondered  what Google Classroom looks like from your student's point of view? Do you need to set up your guardian notifications for your student's Google Classroom? Do you understand how your child knows what to do and how to turn it in for their classes , or do you want to know so that they can't trick you into thinking they did an assignment when they didn't? If any of these answers to these questions are yes, please RSCP for the Google Classroom night. Our size is limited, so the RSVP is necessary. Family Wellness Webinar: Becoming a Trauma-Informed Foster Parent (Part 1): Common Trauma Symptoms and Behaviors
Friday, January 15th at 10am

This two-part webinar focuses on helping foster parents gain knowledge about what “trauma-informed” means and how it can help them connect to and parent the foster youth in their care. Part 1 will focus primarily on helpful social-emotional information. We will also discuss the impact of trauma and how it can trigger behaviors. By recognizing and identifying concerning behaviors, foster parents can advocate for needed resources early on.  Presented by Joanna Ikenasio, LCSW, and Miranda Gonzalez, LCSW, RUSD Student Assistance Program Counselors.
