Assistant Principal's Message

Hello, Amelia Earhart Middle School students and families, and welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!

My name is Kristin Hodge, and I am so excited to join the AEMS family as your Assistant Principal! 

The 2025-2026 school year is my 11th year in education, and my 10th year in RUSD. Prior to joining AEMS, I served Riverside Virtual School as Elementary and Secondary MTSS Liaison, Activities Director, EL Coordinator, and Administrative Designee. I have also served as 7th and 8th Grade English Teacher in the RUSD Virtual Program and at Chemawa Middle School, where I had the opportunity to oversee the Associated Student Body and Yearbook programs. I am deeply committed to ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education enhanced by extracurricular and leadership activities that empower students to positively impact our campus and community. I am passionate about collaborating with teachers to design rigorous, relevant learning experiences and supporting all students in developing the critical thinking and communication skills required for success in high school, college and career, and beyond. I am honored to work in partnership with you this year.
